Several types of yellow leather network cables are used

The yellow leather cable is usually referred to as one of the Cat5e and Cat6 network cables. These are the two most common types of cable. They are standard communications cables used to connect computers and network equipment.

Cat5e (Category 5 enhanced) is a widely adopted network cable with transmission rates up to 1Gbps, which is higher than the old Cat5. Cat5e can support high-speed network connections, so it is commonly used for wiring home and office networks.

Cat6 (Category 6) is a more advanced network cable with transmission speeds up to 10Gbps, which is more suitable than Cat5e for situations where large amounts of data are transferred, such as high-speed data transmission such as multimedia production or video conferencing.

The difference between Cat5e and Cat6 lies in their transmission speed and bandwidth. Although both cables are used to transmit data, Cat6 can support higher transmission speeds and greater bandwidth, so it is recommended to use Cat6 cables in situations where higher network performance is required.

Both Cat5e and Cat6 cables have the same composition, consisting of eight copper cores (four pairs) and an outer protective layer. These copper cores are twisted together to form a flat cable, which reduces interference and noise.

In short, the yellow cable is a type of network cable, the standard cable used to transfer data between computers and other network devices. Whether in the home or office, you need to select the appropriate network cable type to ensure network stability and high efficiency.
